Coats & Jackets A/W2013

Since the months are getting colder it is time to start thinking about your outerwear during the A/W2013. Coats need to do a lot of things for us, its not just about looking good even though that is really really important. They need to keep us warm, dry and have pockets for keys, bus money, phone and unfortunately tissues because we all know by mid September colds & flues will start spreading.

I feel like a coat is an investment as we will wear it everyday and we want it to last the whole season. I don't think a trendy coat is the way to go as trends come and go so fast. A more classic option or cut will go with a multitude of outfits, occasions ad even carry on for more then one season.

More classic options could be a nude trench coat. It works with everything, can be dressed up or down, worn with any color scheme and can be used season after season. A duffel coat in black or khaki green is another timeless piece, we have all had one at one time or another. A black leather jacket is a great option for a timeless, effortless edgy look.

Beware of bright colors! Color trends come an go so fast what will all the shades of colors there can be. Unless you have your heart set on that bright yellow peplum coat from River Island I'd advise going for a more neutral shade or at least avoiding the peplum trend on an item that you may want to wear again next year.

Basically, try shop smart for your key wardrope pieces.

Chi Chi

Chi Chi is a London brandthat was created over 25 years ago. They pride themselfs on being unique, vibrant and expressive. They say that they specialise in making you look stunning and that in one of there dresses you will never look far from faboulus.

In my opinion their dresses are amazing and they are really achiving their goal! The colors, quality, price and overall glamour of their dresses in second to none. I have no idea why Chi Chi isn't more publisised and talked about because designs are just so detailed ad for the price its a total steal. There dresses are flattering on all shapes and sizes but whats even better is that they contain that feel good factor too when you are wearing them.

Update on Ami Clubwear

Just a little update on my review of Ami Clubwear. The issue with them not sending my complete orders because they say they were out of stock (even thought they let me order the items and pay for them and they even still have 1 of the items still advertised on their site in the size I ordered BTW) has been resolved because they refunded my for them items. So I am pleased which the out come because if I couldn't get the item I ordered a refund is really the only alternative. I did have to email them a few times about this and that was annoying but all in all it got sorted and I am sure to order again from them ( there is a really nice pair of shoes I have my eye on lol).

White Day

In Japan, Valentine's day is usually celebrated by women and girls giving gifts of chocolate (home made or store bought, although home made is better because it is more sincere and has more effort) to their Valentine's.

One month later, on the 14th March the opposite happens and men or boys who received Valentines give a white gift in return such as white chocolate, jewellery, white lingerie, cookies, and marshmallows.

Review Of Ami Clubwear

Where to start.....

 Their website is nice. It has a good lay out and is easy to use. Their you tube channel is fun and informative.

Their clothes and shoes from my experience so far are of nice quality and have awesome prices. The shoes I've gotten are comfy, well made and super cute and fashionable. The clothes have nice fabric, a good fit and also wash well so you will definitely get your moneys worth from them!

Ordering from them is very straight forward and easy. They always have coupon codes for money off which is nice or free shipping in America over $50 which is awesome if you live there. The shipping costs from America to Ireland is OK I think but then again I actually never ordered anything from America before so I honestly don't have anything to compare it to. But the way I see it is America is really far away from Ireland and you kinda break even when you use the coupon codes. Shipping seems fast too because I get my orders in less then 3 weeks from ordering to arriving at my door.

I haven't returned anything but it just seems a bit awkward because of the whole process of paying and ship it back yourself. I can understand why this is so but to be honest it doesn't seem worth it as the clothes are so affordable anyways so to me it would make more sense to give something that doesn't fit or I don't like to a family member or friend because it could fit them perfect.

I would say if in doubt when it comes to sizes, go for a size up because if its a little to big you can still wear it or you could take it in but if its too small you couldn't. Also check out their size charts because they are very handy. When it comes to shoes in particular, other peoples reviews and comments are super useful as well.

My only real annoyance about this site is that twice I have ordered somethings and payed for it and the order when through and all looked like it was going good but these two times 1 item from each order wasn't shipped because they basically ran out of stock and I had to contact them and ask what was going on and I had to recontact them and see what the progress with the situation is like. This is currently ongoing and so I don't have an answer yet but I will definitely share how it turns out with it. Fingers crossed it turns out good but we shall see.
